To friends, colleagues, and acquaintances, both in my travel and music communities--What Would I Do--Without You?
Back in March, with the arrival of Covid-19, the trajectories of my travel career and my music performance career abruptly and dramatically altered for the foreseeable future--no different than a lot of folks.
However, as my trucker friends used to say: "Keep your wheels on the ground, your nose pointed forward, at a roadblock, find a detour."
My detour has been to professional education, physical fitness, and time to focus on my songwriting and recording. I completed my first album collection in a very long time--digitally released, as well as two completed single releases, and two more in the works.
Can you feel it? Freedom--at least here in the U.S.--is beginning to break out, all over. The virus can't compete with stunning summer days, fresh healthy air, family, work, social connection (appropriately protected).
Folks are liberating themselves, cautiously, sensibly, to begin to knit it all back together. Here's a song to celebrate!
